Baybayin Surat Bisaya: Ordinaryo

Description

Baybayin Modern Ordinaryo is a utalitarian modernisation of baybayin; composite of several samples from both past and present. It is based primarily on Zurocha's handwriting and interpretations. I first encountered BBY three years or so ago in a Discovery Channel Magazine article about the Palaw'an Scipt. Since then, I have tried to perfect my own method of writing. The greatest influences on my style would be Paul Morrow (Sir Morrow is a Canadian Baybayin Expert & Enthusiast), and baybayin as according to his Bisaya Hervas Font ([link]), Norman De Los Santos, and Akopito Ardinez. This present font and its system should ne'er be considered a historically accurate example of the baybayin. The characters' shapes, sizes and weights have been made as uniform as I cou'd in order to present a neat printed appearance. The font is a utalitarian sans-serif representation of my handwriting using an ARIAL-like theme.

*My K, S took on forms identical [near-identical in the case of K] to their equivalents in Surat due to possible paralell evolution. Z is Paralell by proxy of S.
